Having seen the film, it doesn’t glorify them at all. It’s a pretty acidic condemnation of Millenial pop/materialist culture.

The big question the film tackles is:

Who is more stupid?

Those who post their obnoxious wealth and trinkets on social media, yet do not have even basic security in place?

Or those who repeatedly rob them of that wealth and expect to continually get away with it?

Either way. It’s great grist for scathing social and cultural satire!
