Classic episode of PolitiChicks, based on Dennis Prager Universitys Renew Your Vows on the 4th of July. Featuring your PolitiChicks cast with Morgan Brittany, Dr. Gina Loudon, Ann-Marie Murrell, Sonnie Johnson and some young friends. Produced by Beverly Zaslow, directed by Luke Livingston and casting/set design/everything else, Jo Anne Livingston. For many, the Fourth of July is a day for barbecues, baseball and fireworks. The ritual ceremony performed in this episode of PolitiChicks is designed to help us remember every year what the Fourth of July is really about, and to remind ourselves how fortunate we all are to be Americans, free to celebrate of the birth of our exceptional country.
Happy 4th of July to all my fellow freepers!
I really respect Prager.

But this is the first I've heard of a "4th of July Seder," which takes the parallels between the Exodus and the American founding one step further. With the format of a "Seder," American families are provided a great opportunity to educate youngsters in the history and tradition of the United States on the anniversary of the founding (July 4th), in a manner obviously borrowed from the traditional Jewish Seder (which educates the young and old alike on the history of the Exodus at the time when that history is observed: Passover).
Brilliant idea from Dennis Prager, coming at a time as it does when American youngsters are more frequently losing contact with the history and tradition of their country, caused in large part by the ever-expanding control of public school education by the Left!
Please watch the video in the initial post to get a good idea of what the "4th of July Seder" is all about.
