In July of 1993, a 15-year old mother was brought to Womens Health Care Services to abort her little girl in the late stages of pregnancy. In fact, so far advanced was the pregnancy that the baby was already in position for delivery.
Not having yet perfected his induction method of abortion, according to accounts, Tiller injected the babys head, in two places, the left side of her forehead above the eyebrow and at the base of the skull, with Potassium Chloride, leaving permanent burn marks and needle track scars.
When the young mother returned the next day for the actual abortion procedure, it was found that the baby had not died, as intended, from the lethal injections into her head. The mother was sent to a local hospital where the baby was delivered, wrapped in a blanket, and left in a bassinet without attendance to die.
Amazingly, after 24 hours, the child continued to live in spite of the fact that she had not been cleaned up, her umbilical cord was still attached and she had received no hydration or nourishment. A nurse took pity on the baby and contacted an attorney, who in turn contacted a loving family that adopted the little girl, whom they named Sarah.
Although doctors said Sarah would not survive eight weeks, under the loving care of her new family she lived for five years. Tillers attack on Sarah impaired her growth and left her brain damaged, blind, and unable to walk. Nevertheless, her family members never viewed her as a burden and were blessed to be a part of her short life.
It was noted at her memorial service that Tiller succeeded in killing little Sarah, but it took him five years to do it.44
This tragic story illustrates not only the depravity of a man who could kill innocent children in such a barbaric manner, but also stands as a testimony to the preciousness of each individual life.
Had to have been by her parents. Why anyone would do this is beyond me. She was just about to deliver the baby what was so bad they had to do this?
Bless the adoptive parents who gave five years of love and affection to little Sarah. I don’t know what else to say, Morgana. Words fail....
So called, "progressivism".
I certainly won’t cry over the death of Dr. Tiller.
I have imagined (in my own mind) that when he passes from this world... he will see all those beautiful faces of those babies that he slaughtered. I think I will forever remember the words, “he was so big that I could have walked him to the school bus”. Justice will be served on him.... just not by our criminal justice system.
“I think I will forever remember the words, he was so big that I could have walked him to the school bus. Justice will be served on him.” Gosnell said that not Tiller. Dr. Tiller was the one who did the abortion in this story. He was the doctor in Kansas who was shot leaving church of all places. Tiller’s abortion clinic was closed for a long time after his death until recently when some women bought it and are now trying to run it again with a woman abortionist from out of state.
Tiller passed from this world and into eternity May, 2009.
He was shot
Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.
Sad to say but some people just need killing.
“Tiller passed from this world and into eternity May, 2009.
He was shot”
Good.
Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
Or teacher or school nurse...
I am sorry, Guenevere. I mixed Tiller and Gosner. How could I do that?! I guess I am remembering the atrocities but not the monsters names (maybe that is a good thing.. not sure). Thanks for the clarification!
Nothing to be sorry about.....they are both monsters.—easy to get them confused.
I would not want to be in either one of these guys shoes on judgment day.
It's one of the reasons a judge gave KS Attorney General Phill Kline the right to Tiller's records, to prove that the underage victims of sex abusers, were never brought to the attention of authorities.
It's the law, when people become aware of crimes against children, the authorities are notified......immediately!
I’m certain that there are a lot of reasons why this cannot be done but I’d sure love to see the girl’s adoptive parents file a wrongful death civil lawsuit against Tiller’s estate. Even if they didn’t get any of Tiller’s blood money, it would focus a lot of attention on the horrors that were being committed in Wichita under Tiller’s supervision.
