I read there was a job listing for professional protestors in the Austin Craigslist for that demonstration..

Of course the word professional can have more than one meeting.

It’s not like he gave us no warning,
Or just happened when waking one morning.
Barry’s words and his friends
Showed his means and his ends,
Towards destruction that would be aborning.

I’m not surprised-those people gather like ants to a picnic-when the anti-war protests were hot in Austin when I was a teen, there were rent-a-mobs brought in from California in vans and chartered buses-you could get stoned second hand from the smoke wafting out when they opened up the doors, too...

And in the 2000 Bush/Gore fight, when some friends and I went to participate in the rallies in SA, we saw rent-a-mob drones with Gore signs getting out of vans with Cali plates, and also a charter bus-we all experienced deja vu- only the magic smoke was missing ...

Austin has gotten a reputation of putting out the welcome for hired mobs of liberal wackos...

Oops-looks like the Egyptian military just coup-ed Morsi, and the emperor and state dept have backed the wrong horse in that race...

Good for Egypt, if true. An Islamist regime with no respect for minority rights is “democracy”.

A good time to point out the difference.

I had one of my guys in Egypt in April. We gave him hazard pay. Glad none of ours are there now.

I dont want to jinx anything, but any result here should be better.

Do you know people had been digging up ancient tombs there to look for treasure? Whether desparate people cause no tourism or the standard Islamist hate for “pagan” things i dont know.

I’m glad your colleague returned safely-

I read somewhere that tomb robbing was enjoying a comeback in Egypt-my guess would be the lack of tourism, so they figure why not loot the last treasures-it is such a huge part of their economy-with good reason. I think they were right, and Morsi needed to go-he had killed the economy.
