I picked the Bombardier review because I had noticed a large ad campaign on its behalf in recent days. Also because I found it interesting that the word Bombardier alone bears enough significance to sell theater tickets in mid-1943. Netflix has none of these movies in its library. Based on the reviews, that may be a good thing.

A billboard for the film
Chatterbox appears in a famous Walker Evans print of houses in Atlanta in 1936.

The 1936 film had the same name but was different story than the 1943 film reviewed here.

The film had a first rate cast and was quite popular. But it's a real stinker.
The movie is all about high altitude "precision" bombing and therefore about the Norden bombsight, which, of course, could not be mentioned or seen. Made it kind of tough on the screenwriter.
