Practice makes perfect.....post on....
did your daughter get one as a wedding gift? our oldest niece did and i know they are a status symbol among that age group. xshub’s niece got one for graduation, from her boyfriend. i imagine xsteen’s boyfriend would be the one using it when they get married, LOL! he cooks for her several times per week. i think she may have cooked for him, exactly ONCE.
I keep mine in a lower cabinet in the kitchen - the only appliance that stays out (other than the coffeemaker) is my food processor because I use it almost daily.
The heat wave has broken, with a front and a bit of rain-we are back to the usual for this time of year, but the nights are a bit cooler than normal...
With all of the opinions
Over Snowden’s revelation
Continuing unabated, while
The emperor is on vacation
I wonder if he is really
In some Moscow airport hall
Or is that a simulacrum
Invented to fool us all?
Everyone has an opinion,
Many are taking his side-
For just some young IT guy
This must be quite a ride...
There's no market for MIL's. Even for ones that can cook.
Well I have two and neither one would pull $25.....in fact I would PAY someone to take either one...
A+++ fake, but just as messy.
i have a lot of cabinets but they are all full! i must have more crap than you. no way i could store this stuff in the kitchen. when we are having a party or something, i have xsboy haul it down to the butlers pantry downstairs
He is a fine looking dog. I noticed two one year old Shih Tzus available at Nashville’s shelter this weekend. The maintenance is probably what made someone give them up. I was listening to Cyndi Lauper’s Money Changes Everything this morning and it does, unfortunately.
Like you, I have almost every kitchen appliance known to man, I have a large laundry room with shelving so some things are in there, and a few others “live” in plastic covers in my garage....
Welcome home!
Thank you T - we always miss Texas when we are elsewhere....and the zillions of bammer stickers we saw were just disgusting.
Are Shih Tzus expensive to keep? I’m not a small dog fan, so I don’t know all that much about them except that they are awfully cute...
Listening to the zimmerman trial - not sure how the current discussion is going to help the prosecution - I’m assuming this is the prosecution asking, perhaps I am wrong. But it is the statement and video of Zimmerman the night it happened and he claimed he was the one screaming for help, that martin told him he was going to die tonight, and that during the beating he was taking his gun was exposed and martin went for it......
Shih Tzus do need to be groomed regularly as their fur grows continuously. I saw the breeder groomed her own dogs. That would help, but I prefer to pay a groomer. Every 2-4 months depending on the season. I will let Buffy grow out for the winter months, shorter in the summer as she is outside getting dirty a lot. Can’t let her get too long in the winter really, as the snow clumps in the fur making a mess to clean up inside.
Since I’m going to sell this place and build a nest, I’ve already packed away every kitchen appliance I don’t use-and that is most of them-they were gifts, for the most part-I don’t buy or use anything but the basic stuff...
The entire prosecution case, so far, has been positive for Zimmerman. I cannot believe that they are even prosecuting. Haven’t turned it on yet today. Thanks for the reminder.
I gave up my bread maker and my George Foreman grill. I’ll never give up the Kitchen Aid mixer, or the Cuisinart food processor, although I don’t like the Cuisinart as much as my old Hamilton Beach food processor which I gave up just because the plastic had turned yellow.
quite often we will grill chicken on the foreman and have it on salad for dinner, i can’t give that up. the only use i have for a mixer is making a cake really, and since we are calorie conscious, i am not making them any more. xsbaby’s bday is a week from today and i am going to get an assortment of mini cheesecakes and cupcakes from our favorite bakery, so we don’t have a lot leftover.
That is a lot of grooming for sure-Husky girl sheds fur by the pound at this time of year, but that is just a matter of brushing her outside every evening, and putting up with some fur in the house because I have a dog from up North.
I took my Chow to the groomer for a bear clip every summer, but I was told you aren’t supposed to clip Huskies, Malemutes, and other Artic-type dogs.
