I think that what your mom told you is true for a great many communities. The tragedy is that the cult of "Diversity", serves the interest of no group. It undermines the ability of each group to deal with problems in a realistic way. Does any of this make much sense?

Well there was an effort to create all male and all female public schools. They were excelling. As usual liberals shut them down.
