Why are you giving these people publicity?
Taylor Swift would consider that flattery.
Then the “Church” will sue for damages. What is needed here is for someone to in turn sue them.
The media sure loves to highlight this one tiny clown show.
I wouldn’t worry about Westboro. The group is a cult headed by a man who is totally crazy. His arrogance is second only to his hatred of people. And I don’t think it will be too long until some horrible thing involving the suicide in the group comes up.
Poor Miss Swift.
Just a week or so ago, I saw an article in the Washington Post about how some clueless college student has created a Facebook page for the purpose of harassing Miss Swift for espousing traditional values. (Of course, this being the Post, they were glorifying the college student and presented the harassment of Miss Swift as a *good* thing.)
Being attention whores themselves, the Westboro Baptist Church would certainly be an expert on whores.
I hope Taylor steps forward and proudly proclaims her virginity, her heart felt belief to save herself for a life long marriage, and throw it back at those hypocrites.
Westboro is sounding more and more like PETA. Making increasingly outrageous claims and attaching themselves to things that are irrelevant to them except that they can gain publicity.
I have not agreed with anything this group has said in the past....I guess like a broken clock they get to be right at least twice
We should mark this date down. I can’t remember the Westboro mob taking off after a heterosexual before.
I get a little worked up about Westboro Baptits interfering with soldiers’ funerals, but this sort of stuff can be ignored or ridiculed.
Really, Shirl? “In 1979, Shirley Phelps gave birth to a child out of wedlock. Estranged family members tell the Pitch that she became romantically involved with a man who was staying at a halfway house where she was doing her college internship. At the time, she was majoring in criminal justice at Washburn University in Topeka...The child’s biological father wasn’t accepted into Westboro Baptist Church...Phelps-Roper doesn’t deny that her son Sam was born out of wedlock. She refuses to reveal the name of the biological father.”
I hate hypocrites...
Even a stopped clock or a band of crazed fanatics is right every once in a while.
As long as “serial dating” doesn’t mean “hopping into a new bed every other week,” what exactly is wrong with dating someone—and if they don’t work out—move on to dating someone else? “Dating” doesn’t necessarily mean “sleeping with.”
