The Wallendas performed at my mother’s church at the end of their last year’s season. They used their skills and talents to demonstrate their faith and their relationship with God. If you google “Wallenda perform church” you will see that they regularly appear at churches wherever they are performing. Perhaps their appearance as part of the sermon may draw more donations in the plate or attract new people who want to know more about Jesus?
I think many view high-wire walking as a risky activity without realizing how much practice and skill the Wallendas put into their work.

I believe in God .. but I wasn’t watching TV for a Sunday service. Personally, I thought that his babbling was very annoying .. it was religious overkill. Too much is too much! It is stuff like this that provides ammunition for the left to call all believers a bunch of religious nuts. His family has supposedly been doing this since the 1700’s .. so when he is giving credit to God, Jesus, Discovery Channel .. why not thank his family and give them a little credit too?
He is 1500 ft above ground without a safety net. I think we can cut him a bit of slack.

One does not congratulate someone for breaking commandments. I’m still waiting for you to tell me which commandments I broke.
