Mom, Dad, Im pro-life.
The day I outed myself to my ultra-liberal family, I was terrified. These are the people who basically tried to bully me into aborting my son (aka, their grandson) back in 2011. Lord knows I love them, but I was seriously considering taking this to the grave.
Youve got to understand that Ive always been the person in my family to keep my opinions to myself. Thank goodness I didnt do that when I found out I was pregnant at 17 years old.
I can date back several family issues that came up where I would nod my head and go to my room to keep from saying what I thought. By that time, my thoughts sounded like screams, and my ears would burn.
Its very interesting to me that Ive done this, because my parents have always encouraged my brother and me to speak our minds. And to be fair, sometimes I did. I was in the GSA in high school. I helped lead a peace rally. But should I go against my familys beliefs?
I know this spiritual transformation Ive been going through might look completely foreign to members of my family, but really it shouldnt. They drove me to church, dropped me off, and then picked me up. I loved church. Ive always loved God. Ive always loved the messages of Jesus Christ.

WAS.
She may already know at the subliminal level, having vaguely overheard conversations without understanding or fully comprehending them as a young child.
That’s how it worked for my stepdaughter (who was 2.5 at the time). One day as a young teen, she point blank asked about it because she kept dreaming she had missing sibling.
Don't tell her unless you have to tell her.
Losing a sibling, even one you never saw, leaves a wound that never quite heals.
It’s not the right time to tell the child about what her mother did to her sibling, but if she asks what abortion is, tell her.
A child sympathizes with the baby when thinking about abortion. A teenager is apt to be under far more peer pressure to be pro-choice, may put loyalty to a pregnant and aborting friend over morality, and is beset by her own hormones and sexual urges - it is very natural for her sympathies to be with the selfish choice of abortion, which is seen as the self-preserving choice.
Roe v Wade was decided when I was 11 and I knew what developing babies looked like. That’s why I’m pro-life. My children all asked about abortion by the time they were 8 or so and they are all pro-life.
Outstanding!
Well, at least she didnt have to tell them that she was ABSTINENT.
That may have resulted in an honor killing.

Too funny!
I beg you. Please do not ever tell her. If she finds out through another avenue and then asks you, tell the truth, but please do not be the initial source.
Please explain how anything on this thread is funny.
So, your daughter aborted your granddaughter’s younger brother/sister, horrible.
Of the two biggest issues on cultural war, abortion and gay-marriage, I’d say conservatives and liberals will get 50-50.
As science shows more and more evidences of life while the baby is still in the mother’s womb, it’s more difficult for liberals to defend ‘it’s a woman’s body’ argument. Ask any ordinary people whether it’s okay to abort a baby at 9-month pregnancy, and I’d say most would say no. Those who say it’s okay to do so is a completely lost cause, I think, and it’s just wasting time arguing with them.
On gay-marriage, however, it’s more difficult without bringing religious faith to it. Unfortunately, once the faith reason is removed, it’s not that easy to defend why we shouldn’t allow gay marriage.
I took it to be his son’s former wife, not his daughter. Could be either with purposeful ambiguity.
Ping
My ex daughter in-law.
Of course. And young people aren’t inclined to think through everything in their lives. I’m very happy that the young lady has a loving husband and a cute child, with many years ahead to do good.
Still horrible, for your entire family. She is the poster child for divorce.
Oh The Divorce was 4 years ago. We are still in court with her though.
