BOSTON More than a dozen State Police investigators swarmed the home of New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on Saturday in connection with the death of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.
A dozen police cars were pulled up to the football players home in North Attleboro just before 2 p.m. Members of the K-9 and State Police Crime Lab units were seen going into the home, while others remained outside.
The large group of media staking out the scene was being kept back from the property. Reporters on scene said it appeared police were executing a search warrant.
On Friday, Attleboro District Court clerk magistrate Mark E. Sturdy said three search warrants were issued in the investigation earlier in the week but have not yet been made public.
While Sturdy said no arrest warrant had been filed in state courts for Hernandez, WBZ NewsRadio 1030 reported on Friday that one had been issued on an obstruction of justice charge.
It was not immediately clear whether police planned to serve that warrant on Saturday.
the NSA and IRS have him now... “Patriot”
I never knew I was a cheap, skinflint, racist for not giving some idiot kid a half a million dollars of taxpayer money for dropping a barbell on his face during gym class...after being instructed he must have a spotter to even touch the thing..
When he didn't get his money he throw a fit in the courtroom accusing the jury of said racism..
Some TV skit...can’t remember where..Was about a football player who was drafted by San Fransisco.
Player said “when I was in College and my first couple of years in San Fran I was the tight end. Now, I’m a Widddde Receiver.
Nuyk, nuyk...
I hadn’t heard that..do you have a link? Thanks
I must have heard it on FOXnews. That’s the only channel I watch.
An open note to the Masachushits State Police, “first open e-bay account in an alias, then gather up as many Souvenirs as possible, then gather the criminal evidence.”
Off topic but of interest to me. Could someone explain the exact role of the state cops in Mass. It seems the staties seem to be constantly involved in crime investigation that would, in NY, be the province of the local Leos, particularly in a large jurisdiction. You rarely see state cops in NYC in an investigative or enforcement capacity, yet, if I’m to believe the media, entertainment and news, the staties are like a second police force in Boston.
Hernandez is the killer, one of the killers, or is trying to prove loyalty to his low life homies by protecting the killer(s).
