Just for reference, here is Donohue’s own article on the matter. AFAICS, he is deliberately misleading by saying Obama was “condemning segregation” per se, and implying that was all he was doing. Catholics and Protestants have their own separate parochial schools in this country—should that stop in the USA because Donohue alleges it to be a cause of “segregation” in Northern Ireland?

Just turned down our great leaders supreme assurance Saturday radio edict that all is well and we must believe “The Great Brother” (Russians during czarist times would call those edicts assurances from the Great Father.) and will turn volume back up to the regularly scheduled show.

The response from Catholic leadership reminds me of a lecture I heard over Relevant Radio of St John Fisher and Henry VIII. The only Catholic bishop in all of England to stand against him.
