Thanks so much for doing that - I know exactly where they are going. I’ll put some new potting soil mix in there to make them really happy.
Actually they are pretty stalwart. Of course they like good soil, but where the ancestors of these originated, they lived in the sand hills of northern Nebraska. Good watering makes for a good onion, but even at that they do well if pretty much left on their own. I guess I like them because they are a part of my heritage. But then I prefer heirlooms and open pollinated over fancy hybrids (which do have their place) to. What can I say. LOL
