WINNSBORO, SC (WIS) - Logan Robinson is going to need a bigger sash. He's come a long way in 10 years. Back then he was just a 7-year-old Cub Scout who enjoyed carving polar bears out of bars of soap.
"For a 7-year old to have a knife and be carving something, it was awesome," said Robinson. "I was hooked right away."
Robinson achieved his Eagle Scout rank by the age of 13. Most scouts quit when they hit Eagle. Robinson was just getting started.
"If I didn't have something to focus on, I was just going to fizzle out," said Robinson.
So Troop 49 scoutmaster Jimmie Joyner gave Robinson a challenge: earn every single badge available -- all 134.
"I've heard there have only been about 180-200 boys who've earned every badge out of the millions of scouts," said Joyner.
Robinson had many weekends spent at scouting camps earning a few badges at a time, but he got there. Everything from dentistry to tracking and bugling, which was a pain.
"You have to learn I believe it's 13 different bugle calls, and I had absolutely no musical experience," said Robinson.
Those experiences that made the 2 1/2-year journey worth it.
"I mean I've gotten to see F-35's being built in person," said Robinson, "who gets to do that?"
He hopes many more will. Part of the fun is showing off the sash to younger scouts and hopefully inspire them.
Just don't ask for too much detail about the nuclear science patch.
"I remember doing it," said Robinson. "Every little aspect of it? Ehh."

Ping.
What difference does it matter at this point in time, anyway???
Congrats to him. He did it before the complete corruption of the organization has occurred.
Good job, Logan. Congratulations!
You win the award for writing the first kind comment...good job. :)
Hope they don't create an alternative orientation badge in light of recent developments.
Fantastic. Way to go kid!
Thank you. The fine young men of the Boy Scouts deserve our support and encouragement. They don’t deserve what they’ve been subjected to.
Ping!
You are correct. It isn’t the kids fault what has happened. It’s a bunch of PC cowardly adults.
WOW!
amazing kid
(presumably since he earned the badges in the last couple of years, none of them is for “homosexual relations”)
Way cool. Nice job!!
I don’t accept that a kid earned, by himself, the rank of Eagle by 13. This “early” earning Eagle stuff is just as false as the Boy Scouts now claiming to Reverent to God and “morally straight”.
Some adults on this forum make snide remarks that implicate the kids and it’s sickening.
Lucky for him he wasn't carving guns or tea party symbols out of those bars of soap. For then he'd be investigated by the NSA, or the IRS, or by both.
There is no statute of limitation for those crimes.
For my Scout Son Trevor.
Exactly....As much as I hate the ruling....we simply can’t walk away from the Scouts....we have to stay and fight and not concede anything......too many times conservatives flee to safer pastures instead of standing their ground.

Who are you to judge anybody? You come across as a pious jerk. You ain’t squat.
In the old days, he’d get promoted to E-2 or E-3 instantly when he joined the service, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone these days, especially a hard-charger like this kid.
