The first, if proven, has the potential to bring down the ruling power structure. The second is SOP for the blackmailable Boehner. The puppet masters don't allow anyone, and I mean anyone including the Bush family, to have positions of power unless they are loyal to the masters first.
And one last note: when you excerpt from a Beck quote, it is a good idea to include the entire paragraph, since leaving out a 'could' or 'should' in order to further marginalize Beck is a trait now well identified at FR. The rodeo clown makes dumb enough proclamations without selectively quoting parts of his paragraphs in order to sevre the character assassins further.
Beck is a professional bloviator - someone who has convinced some fool to pay him big bucks to come on several days a week and blow a lot of hot air, whether anything is happening or not and whether he actually has any pertinent information to add to current debates. Since Beck evidently has nothing to add, he had to produce a “big bombshell” to spur ratings. When the time arrived for the “big bombshell”, well it was delayed, tune in next week, and by all means, keep listening and in the meantime ‘Drink your Ovaltine’.

I’m sorry but why so much attention to this windbag. He’s like a good carny. He draws us into his carnival tent promising us something powerful and earth shattering and then when we get in it’s a big dud! Drudge did a “shake the world’s foundations” ploy years ago. He hit on it for a while and then went silent. I got on his radio show and asked him what was up. He wouldn’t say other than “the story is still out there” (?) and I never heard another thing about it.
Gosh...it seems no one is concerned about a permanent progressive society and the fact that 70-odd congresscritters may actually revolt against the cry-baby Boehner.

1. The revelation and proof that most of Congress (& Chief Justice Roberts) are being blackmailed into submission by NSA snooping into their digital lives. Maybe even includes media personalities.
2. Based on what Pat said, the whole birther issue is finally going to become main stream news, with undeniable proof. This would be HUGH news for Beck, since he is the quintessential anti-birther.
