It looks like another fast food chains employees have been caught behaving badly.
In a photo posted on Reddit, a Wendys employee can be seen helping himself directly from the Frosty machine.
I was going to buy a frosty from Wendys [sic] until I saw the employee do this, the user wrote.
Commenters quickly pointed out that the photo doesnt appear to be taken from across the counter, nor does it make sense that an employee would do this in front of a customer.
Regardless, the gross photo is still on the Internet for everyone to check out before considering a Frosty from Wendys.
Last week a photo of a Taco Bell employee licking a stack of taco shells went viral. The employee, Nicholas Kauffman, no longer works at the California Taco Bell restaurant and an official spokesperson said an investigation has been launched into the incident.
This might have been a joke, done just to get the photo. Something like “This is me on my last day as a fast food worker.”
Anyway, a couple of weeks ag, I ordered a cheesy cheddar hot dog. I pulled up to the pickup window. I watched as they made my hot dog. The server that waits on the customers and hands them the food picked up the little foil sack for my hot dog and then proceeded to stick her uncovered hand completely into the sack to fully open it. She then put the open-faced hot dog into the bag.
Then she took a paper sack, again sticking her entire hand and the sleeve of her dirty shirt into the bag to open it fully. She then put the hot dog and fries into the bag.
I called and complained to the manager, and then I wrote an e-mail to corporate. That was sickening.
I have never been back there since.
LOL!
Now people can have herpes-flavored Frosties!
At no extra charge!
Ha ha...thinking the same thing.
Apparently you've never watched Mystery Diners or Restaurant Stakeout on the Food Network.
You would be amazed at what goes on in fast food restaurants in the middle of the night after closing time. A friend of mine worked at a popular big chain fast food place. One night after closing his boss ordered him to clean out the icemaker. Apparently it hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. After turning off the machine and emptying out all the ice, he discovered that there were dozens of frozen dead bugs in the bottom of the ice machine. Not just flies and mosquitoes but roaches, palmetto bugs, dragonflies, even a couple of lizards. This is in Florida, but he still has no idea how they all got in there. And all that time the customers had been filling their cups with ice for their sweet drinks, with all that disgusting crud in the bottom of the icemaker. He couldn’t deal with it. He quit two days later and got a job as a janitor at the local hospital, where extreme cleanliness is the utmost job requirement.
Yep. Chances are they clean the soft serve machine last.
And the guy’s mouth has been sterilized and washed down with Lysol before he did that. It’s okay.
Actually, check the reflections: there are sandwiches in the bins.
If Obama had a son,,,
I didn’t. I actually thought the employee would have done it the conventional way. The standard trick in the fast food biz is “Darn, I messed up the order. Now I’ll have to eat it myself.”
I was trying to figure out how an employee could mess up a Frosty....I guess that’s it.
Me: Yes, I`d like a chocolate milkshake.
Employee: We dont have milkshakes, how about a Frosty?
Me: Whats in a Frosty?
Employee: Yells to Manager in the back: Hey boss, Whats in a Frosty?
One-minute delay
Manager: Frosty Mix
That’s one of the reasons I like the Mighty Taco franchise near me.
Besides being able to get delicious taco goodness the food prep area is right in front where you can see your stuff being made.
The layout is perfect for avoiding this type of behavior
Leroy just wanted a little taste.
Ummmm, while a "family owned business" gets to choose the decor, the menu, and other such items, what makes them different than a franchise-run business? Even if they are actually staffed by only family members, there's nothing to guarantee that someone isn't disgruntled, etc...
There is not absolutely "safe" eating establishment - one can only hope the dice don't come up craps...
I recently got up and left a restaurant after we were seated and our waitress arrived. Albeit she “appeared” to be clean, she had sleeve tattoos and one on her neck, magenta hair, the dark emo make-up, nose and multiple ear piercings. I told the manager why I was leaving as I left.
I bet they inventory the frosty sales by counting the cups, this is his way of stealing the product without affecting the inventory....
This could have just as easily been before the business opened in the morning, as opposed to happening after closing.
Think Mach III Turbo by Gillette.......
Same reason I often eat from Subway. Its all there to see.
