Edward Snowden, 29, a former CIA technical assistant and current employee of military contractor Booz Allen Hamilton, went to the Guardian and the Washington Post newspapers and spilled national security secrets that he had promised not to divulge. While a lot of talking heads are focusing on the “leaker,” I think it’s time we turn attention to what was LEAKED:

Here’s what the government has obtained, and MUCH MORE more (let your imagination run wild):

A GUN REGISTRY
A list of all gun owners and everything they say, think, do and buy
A list of all pro-lifers and everything they say, think, do and buy
A list of all conservative groups
A list of where all meet and when
A list of EVERY SINGLE COMMUNICATION between any of them,
all their financial transactions
all the websites they visit
everything they say on a conservative forum
everything about their kids
where they go
what they do
when their kids go to school and what time they get home from band practice...

EVERYTHING.

In my experience it is not always that cut and dry. Despite the knowledge, Obama seems to walk away untouched by any of this. Let's see what Obama is doing with his other hand while we are busy watching this one.

There are no doubt a few.

Probably Snowden does not understand the financial oligarchy that runs things.

Otherwise he would have known that Hong Kong has been a base of operations for them since the Opium Wars. But no matter, since if the oligarchs want someone pushed out a window or hung from a bridge, they just send operatives to do it, wherever they choose, so there's no "hiding". Going public in the way he did was perhaps the smartest thing Snowden could have done, as he seems quite well aware. If one gets the oligarchy mad enough, one is not afforded the nicety of a trial.

Almost all intel employees except the odd Snowden here and there have... historically... been kept satisfied enough by their great government job situation.

As the oligarchy pushes to shift our government into more of a totalitarian state, however, we should see more of them at various levels.

US/UK/Israel intel are peas in a pod and all were put in place by oligarchy men. For the purposes of what the oligarchs want. Of course, the Saudis are vassals of the oligarchy, and the Muslim Brotherhood was founded by MI6 to provide chaos. Best way to manage a conflict, back both sides.

Contrary to what we've been taught, though intel has a lot of well-meaning people working in it, it has had its corruptions from day one. Allen Dulles and his buddy Thomas McKittrick, in the early days of modern US intel, helped the oligarchy cleanse booty exiting the Third Reich.

They'd be proud of what intel has become today. What a scheme by the oligarchy: have taxpayer dollars pay for enormous state espionage machinery, which can be covertly used here and there as needed to further the oligarchs' ends.
