I had an 8-point buck run into the side of my truck a few years ago. Can’t imagine what it would have been like on a motorcycle.

My brother collided with a deer on his motorcycle a couple of years back. The deer was killed. Bro and his wife skidded about 50 yards down the road, losing many pounds of skin.
Motorcycle-deer collisions are serious business.

A friend and vendor of mine was out riding motorcycles with his wife a few years ago when one of these stupid deer mounted her bike. His wife survived but spent a week in the hospital and another six at home recovering from the resulting injuries.
This is no laughing matter. A leaping deer, even a lightweight doe, has an unbelievable impact.

I call motorcycle riders “future organ donors”.

I love how it says the deer jumped on a moving motorcycle and didn’t even mention that the 19 year old rider was knocked off and thrown 100 feet. Then it says the deer “succumbed to her injuries” like we’re seeing everything from the deer’s point of view????????
