That is very strange - we recently (as in the past three years) replaced the gas tank AND the fuel pump which is inside the gas tank - the cost for us was over $800! I am sad to see it failed after so few miles on it. The mechanic who did that work had IRS issues and has vanished (unfortunately).

A thing to consider is, to what degree is the ethanol added to motor fuels these days bad for fuel system components?

It may only be 10% or higher, but many systems were designed for gasoline only. Ethanol is more reactive to some plastics. I have a couple of chain saws which need cardiac surgery because of ethanol.

Good news! I’m back online! YAY!!!!

Also, it was a relay switch that wasn’t relaying properly. I will find out tomorrow which one it is, and make sure it is isolated in the event of something like this again.
