I walked to Walmsrt and took a cab home, which I really resented, but because I was in and done before customer service opened, I had to walk down to 7-11 to get money orders...
Ungh....the heat and the hill...everything is downhill from here, which means it’s uphill on the way home.
The trip to Wally World was early, as I wanted to make that walk before the sun came up. I didn’t have that luxury on the way to get the money orders.

I’m exhausted by your diligence!
The city is building sidewalks on the main road between here and the Walmart. When it’s done ... someday ... we can walk there.

Necessity is the mother of walking! LOL!
I couldn’t afford a taxi both ways, and the bus only comes FROM Walmart. At this end of the route, it makes a circle from Walmart back to about 1/2 mile east of Walmart as it heads west, but it passes across the street from this complex, so if I don’t have too much, I can take the bus home. This time, it was bulky stuff.
No one I know is up at the unthinkable hours I am, nor could they function as well, so I do what I need to do. It is going to be a long day, for sure.
