A group of Saudi men on a desert safari hunted scores of lizards during one trip then they slaughtered the little animals and skinned them before having them for a big feast.
An 85-second YouTube film showed the men were skinning the slaughtered reptiles while scores of those animals were scattered on the sand in the Gulf Kingdoms desert.
It is a real desert lizard massacre. The film shows scores of them were strewn on the sand while the hunter were happily skinning some hunted lizards, Arar daily said.
Lizards are eaten in many parts of Saudi Arabia, where there are no laws banning the hunting of such small animals, among a handful of desert creatures that have survived massive hunting and post-oil development projects in the region.
The other-other-other white meat.
Lizard, it’s What’s for Dinner.
The equivalent of cottontail rabbits in other parts of the world.
Is a lizard foot supposed to be lucky?
Only if it has fur on it.
Saudi orcs dining on lizard. Sounds like cannibalism to me.
Definitely NOT Kosher.
I guess they must be halal though.
Eyew.
You know, the desert is a big place.
I really doubt they put much of a dent in the lizard population.
Do I tell the Koreans not to eat dogs.
...half way expected to see a picture of VJ.
I guess they must be halal though.
Nope, Haram. See principle #4

Sort of like “desert bacon” for the heathens.
It makes sense that they are Haram, based upon the pattern of haram-ness.
So why is this allowed? LOL!
When I lived on the Arabian Peninsula, there was lots of stuff from the Koran not followed.
I don’t doubt it.
I did know the answer answer to lizard question as it came up working there. I had a small job shut down while a few labors killed, cooked and ate a similar lizard. It was explained to me that for these laborers, it was likely the only meat they might eat for a week or so.
