Millions of pet lovers currently have a cat or have owned a cat at some time in their lives. In fact cats are the second most popular pets in America, second only to mans best friend, the dog.

For all you cat people out there, just an excuse (not that we need it) for spoiling our kitties some more. Of course I think even if its a holiday for cats, dog owners should give their pooches a bit of love too, what I find weird is it's also Old Maid's Day. Why do they think those of us who love cats are old maids.?

No offense to cat lovers here, but I kill every cat that comes around because my wife has an extremely bad cat allergy.
My hatred of cats is based on necessity. I love my better half. ;)

I have family members that are allergic to my cat.
They don’t visit which is fine, they see kitty via Skype
when we were growing up I wanted a kitten more than anything and sis was so allergic. I couldn’t understand why we couldn’t return sis and get a kitten. (I was about 5 at the time).
A good spouse is hard to find. give your wife a big hug then. And a hello from me
