It was perfectly filmed. I’ve not seen anything quite like it. It was like reading the book in the form of a film with only one difference that I saw.

Intense episode. I'm not sure if they can top this one next week. Hubby pointed out that last year the 9th episode was Blackwater; and the first season was the beheading of Ned Stark; so, I suppose we should have expected something big.

Still, I was surprised at how shocked I was by what happened even though I knew it was coming. I guess it is seeing it played out in front of you on the screen Sort of like how I felt when Jamie lost his hand; knew it was coming, still shocked.

Who thinks they will do Joffrey's wedding as the last episode of Season 3; or, do you think they will start with that in Season 4?

#GameOfThrones is analogous to an inverse murder mystery. Instead of knowing who the hero is but needing to figure out who’s the villain, the viewer/reader knows who the villains are but has to try to figure out who’s the hero.

My Son and I read book 3 and watched the episode last night. The first thing my Son said at the end was that they filmed it perfectly. I agree. The ending credits without music was poignant.

I can’t wait to see the next season since book 4 was a mess. I know that it will be tweaked for television but I am excited to see the story advance.
