ABC, CBS media linked to the Obama administration, NBC link uncovered today

Richard Grenell, a political consultant and media commentator reported today via Twitter that NBC’s Mark Murray, senior political editor for NBC News wife, Sasha is an Obama appointee but never publicly disclosed it.

Grenell asked Murray yesterday if he was married to an Obama appointee and why it was not disclosed.

Murray told him that he hasn’t publicly disclosed that his wife is an Obama appointee because he told NBC officials and they didn’t care. Murray also told Grenell that his first wife worked for Ray Lahood so disclosing her as an Obama appointee wasn’t necessary.

Murray’s wife, Sasha Johnson who will assume Obama’s FAA Chief of staff position is also a former CNN producer and Assistant to the Secretary and Director of Public Affairs with the Department of Transportation.

Nepotism leads to ugly outcomes no matter who practices it.

Nepotism (from Latin, nepos, “nephew”) was a common practice back in the days of the early Christian church, when the nephews of powerful cardinals, who were celibate, and therefore without legitimate sons of their own, elevated these nephews to high rank within the church hierarchy, over other and perhaps much more competent individuals.

This kind of almost incestuous concentrations of power within the hands of a few families tends to lead to limited thinking and paralysis of imagination, with the goal of retaining control within the family rather than the greater good for all the affected individuals.

Spouses who are highly placed within the governing factions are in position to dispense particular favor and provide deep background, which leads to management of the information in the most favorable light, or outright suppression of some very vital facts.

There are laws which are supposed to limit this practice, but in recent years, they have been largely ignored or openly flouted, scorning the traditions and accumulated wisdom of history.

We all know Clinton’s daughter got her news job at CNN based on an objective excellence in journalism. It had nothing to do with her contacts - just like these ‘fine’ journalists.

Murray told him that he hasn’t publicly disclosed that his wife is an Obama appointee because he told NBC officials and they didn’t care...these lefties are without a doubt champions at specious disingenuousness - of course the people at NBC didn't mind - but about fifty percent of the general public would find it quite offensive...time for congress to write a few laws on defining the relationship between the state and the press, with the first being no incestuous employment with the press vs. the government.....
