I've read about WW2 all my life and yet I seen very little about the struggle between China and Japan. Are there any good books that caver that portion of the war?

Interesting speculation these last few days concerning German summer objectives in Russia. I think one lesson from both their 1941 and 1942 offensives is that outcomes may have been different had the offensives begun sooner.
I have heard credible rumors that the German offensive may be delayed until useable quantities of some new type of armored vehicles can be rushed directly from factory to battlefield.
