Last weekend for Fox
Note on Fantasy Racing that Austin Dillon is showing up as not entered, with instructions how to choose him.
Why is the race the Fedex 400, but MRN calls it the Dover 400.
There is no extra room in the engine bay. They had to put the battery in the trunk. The exhaust headers are run down the center of the V8 instead of the sides and the twin turbos are there too. That is all under the heat shield cover with the Audi Logo.
I don’t think I’d want to own one past the warranty period. A stunning performer for sure.
I got the 7 year/70,000 mi full warranty. Everything seems to be run by computer so I worried about electronic repairs. It has “Stability Control” and it seems to make it feel quite tame as far as handling. It is not nervous and twitchy feeling like my old Porsche. It also does not have noticible turbo lag while the Porsche with a single turbo had noticible lag.
Good stuff.
I know on some vehicles there’s a “double secret” way to turn off SC when you’re looking to have some fun.
I can turn off SC with a button on the dash. To do a Launch Control start you turn it off, but you get a warning message.
BTW, what model Caddy do you have?
2004 SRX V6 awd
bought it when it was 6 yrs old with 15,000 miles for 70% off sticker from an estate
How has the SRX been for reliability? Snow? I am contemplating trading in my 1997 Toyota 4Runner and need another SUV with 4WD or AWD for when snow is deep. Am looking at all options.
I noticed I took the Audi S6 pictures with the body lift on. The normal ride is very low and there is a computer display mode to lift the body ride height several inches to go over bumps. I need this to go over the road edge onto my driveway. The lift automatically turns off if the vehicle speed is over about 60mph.
The tires look narrow in the photos, but they are 19 inch Pirelli P Zero tires that I think are 9 inches wide. No high-speed performance comments yet, but up to 75 mph and on curvy mountain roads it does well. I like the Sirius satellite radio because normal radio goes away in the mountains.
Mine has been quite good, which seems to be a bit of an exception. I purchased it so cheaply that I was willing to put money in repairs if needed. I’ve put 40,000 miles on with minimal problems.
I purchased an extra set of OEM wheels off eBay (cheap, because a lot of folks put on big 20 or 22 inch rims) and mounted Bridgestone Blizzak snowtires.
I happened to be up in Cleveland Ohio during a lake effect blizzard and I was passing everything on the road. Realize however that it doesn’t have the ground clearance of a 4wd pickup.
It’s also “full time” awd so you can’t disconnect the front axle and spin donuts like I could with my Cherokee.
Happy Tendering Norm
I bet Norm is lined up early at the front of the buffet line!
I also plan to buy an extra set of wheels for winter tires. I have a while to shop.
The Banana Slug Racing team is running:
Bowyer
Martin
KyBu
Mears
So far so good.
Look at all those empty seats.
Amazing.
This is the result of Nascar going PC, Green and forgetting about the ability to actually race.

Wow Tubie, that number 20 that you picked for your A-team has let the smoke out of his engine:(
I watched a vid of the makin of an F30 BMW ..it was awesome watchin the machines whip that car out
Spring fever is on... oops, forgot to ping to the race, just over half way over.
This will NOT look good in my report to the management!
Yeah, I will have to step it up... Ping early in the morning before I take off to play.
