The news reports indicate that without any real hunting going on....beavers have grown into larger-than-average characters, and there’s probably a need to bring in some big-time hunters.
Did no one ever tell these people that they should never pose with a beaver?

In Yellowstone years ago they told us a family placed their kid on a buffalo, resulting in him being tossed about a hundred feet.

I have a military survival guide which says you can swing a beaver by the tail and kill it by smashing it into a tree. However, the guide warns to be careful because “the beaver is a considerable animal”.
