“Corregidor” is strictly a low-budget propaganda film. L.B.F. has it right.
Our main takeaway from “Cabin in the Sky” is that there should have been more Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. A nice movie just the same. It transmits the important wisdom that if you shoot dice and chase scarlet women you will have a hard time getting into heaven.
