A movie about the young Hillary Clinton is in the works, and some big names are being reported as possibly filling the role although none of the actresses is actually attached to the project.
Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Chastain, and Amanda Seyfried are supposedly among the stars in the running for Rodham, which portrays Clinton as a Washington lawyer in the 1970s, according to The Independent.
But its important to note that while director James Ponstoldt tells the outlet theyre all wonderful actresses, absolutely no casting decisions have been made.
Were very fortunate that a lot of really great actors are interested in playing these roles, Ponstoldt is quoted as saying. Were in an enviable position.
He adds, Regardless of peoples political affiliation or how they feel about Hillary Clinton, you dont find people who question the quality of her intelligence or her drive. I want a wonderful actress who could embody that.

Hollywood pimping for Democrat candidates again (2016).
It is successful. Why the Republicans don’t do this type of thing, I don’t know. We always complain but that doesn’t get us very far. We have lost 4 out of 6 previous presidential elections. Not great. We need to do better.
Helen Lederer, ( Catriona in Absolutely Fabulous), would make a good Hillary too.
I definite think that Tina Fey looked 100 percent like Sarah Palin. Julianne Moore about 40 percent.
Ping.
Juanitta Brodderick could easily played by Madeline Albright. They both look the same.....UGLY!!!!! I don’t know what Bill Clinton saw in Juanitta Brodderick. What a waste. He could have done much better.
I nominate the mutant human who played “The Creeper” in the 30-40’s horror movie.
I didn’t think the resemblance between Ms. Fey and Governor Palin was that striking.
However, my point was that Sarah Palin is arguably better looking than the actress that portrayed her in that movie. I daresay no one will make a similar argument after seeing the Hillary movie.
> Why the Republicans dont do this type of thing, I dont know.
About whom shall a movie be made for 2016? Maybe Clint Eastwood can be motivated to produce and direct it.
I mush have missed something! I don't think Hill is all that smart. Conniving, shrewd, focused? Yes.
She is so brilliant she had to ride Bill's coatails!
What has helped Hillary most in her career is her total lack of recall. She never remembers what she had for breakfast!
They need two actresses to play her. One for the hippy; another for the fatty.
That's a movie I won't be watching.
> Scar Jo, Jessica Chastain, Reese Witherspoon, Amanda Seyfried...
Which one of them has had a sex tape or pics “leaked” on the Internet most recently? IMHO she’ll be the best bet.
Well, it IS sort of catchy, all she has to do is make sure the rising star Castro doesn't win in the rat primaries.
Does she have a good arm to throw a lamp? Any actress playing Hilly will need a strong arm to throw stuff around. =)
I think they should use Bette Midler or that Stiseand skank.
There is a sequel in the works. When we saw the first one, the audience applauded loudly at the end and someone shouted 'Romney 2012'.. Voter fraud changed everything though. The coup of 2008 will not end without a battle.
Where Fester was lost for all those years...
Revisionist history at its finest.
Yessssssssssssssss...Rosie O’Donnell - and what a hoot if HC objected?
Ya. And worse. The 60s sucked big time!
