"It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the organizer, Who gave us the freedom to demonstrate
It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag.
And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag."
Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

The Left is already going after Cruz hard...he is the “new McCarthy”...he’s not a “real” Hispanic...he’s a liar.
Just the usual stuff...it’s how they “got” Palin...ABCBSNBCNNPR have their marching orders, and it’s begun. They will try and destroy his reputation by the next presidential election cycle.
OOH RAH!
Pleasantly happy to find someone I voted for living up to what he promised.
I pray to St. Michael the Archangel every night so that he will thwart the evil doers in our country.

I found it on a veteran web site. Thanks for the correction.

And Senator begins by given recognition to the author Charles M Province.
Note the following from the above:
Webmasters Note: Mr. Charles M. Province has contacted me with the request that due credit
be given to his authorship of the poem, It Is the Soldier, which has, to my knowledge, for
several years been attributed to Father Denis Edward OBrien, USMC. Mr. Province has advised
that Father OBrien once sent a copy of the poem to Dear Abby and it was printed erroneously
giving credit to Father OBrien for writing it. It is at that point that the authorship became clouded.
I reproduce this information in the hope of ensuring Mr. Province receives full, appropriate and
most deserved credit for his wonderful piece.
I'm well aware of that as I included the same hyperlink in my post.
The dem bots on the breitbart comment section are unbelievable.
Thanks notaliberal.
