Historian photographs UFO hovering over historic California barn that's better known for its ghosts

A metallic flying saucer appearing no different from any Sci-Fi movie was allegedly photographed hovering over a historic Southern California barn that’s already famously known for its spooks.

Santee Historical Society researcher Ellen Henry says she was outside taking pictures of the Edgemoor Barn near San Diego when she unknowingly caught the perfectly clear cigar-shaped object hovering in the sky.

'I was constantly looking up and around the area, including the sky's background, so I can get it just right, and not at any time did I see anything in the sky, or heard a sound of an aircraft,' she later wrote with her picture.

The “video” at the link is just a stupid news report with precious little of the “UFO” and mostly a lot of other nonsense.

Of all the UFO stories I have seen over the years, this is one of the weakest.

I think that’s a good picture of an unknown object in the sky. Who knows what it is, but it sure isn’t any kind of aircraft we’re familiar with.

Well, in your defense, it was an Unidentified Flying Object up to the moment you identified it. Must have been a tad embarrassing, though.

I agree. It also looks like a solid craft being piloted through the air. Fact is, it's impossible to tell what that object is from our vantage point.

Just once, I'd like to see someone get some clear, unambiguous, close up photos of one of these things. I've read reports many times of sightings of enormous craft - some described as a mile in length or longer. Wouldn't it be nice if just one of the people making such a sighting, got a few snaps off before it disappeared?

Most convincing video I’ve ever seen was gunsight video from a fighter chasing one. I can’t tell you how I happen to have seen it, but it was not faked and the craft the jet was engaging had no visible wings or jet exhaust outlets and just short away from the fighter when the active firing mechanism was turned on. The Israelis have some really good such video ...
