With this one guy....the Tigers are twenty-five games better in the win column at the end of the season. It’s like having Ted Williams in your line-up and being the pitcher for the Tigers today.....you can pitch an less-than-average game, and still have a fair chance of winning.

I grabbed that graphic yesterday. None of those home runs were even in the strike zone let alone his hot zone low in the strike zone.
In related Tiger news, Anibal Sanchez pitched a 1 hit game last night. He went into the 9th inning when Joe Mauer hit a line drive right up the middle.
