Great movie, he should have gotten the Academy Award for best actor.

His portrayal of "Pennywise" in Stephen King's
It, has to be near the top of the list for most terrifying movie monsters ever; easily in the top 10...

I also liked him as the Devil in Legend. Deliciously evil.

' 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' star Tim Curry is recovering at home following a major stroke. If he's at home already after having a stroke last night, I'd say it wasn't major.

Never saw it.
I do remember him from “It” in his famous role of Pennwise, that horrible clown-monster.
And he did a really fine stint on the long ago series, “Wise Guy” (Ken Wahl) as a crooked Record Studio Producer. I miss that show... the had interesting story lines.
I wish him well in his recovery.

He was also

...the villain in Legend, Tom Cruise's early and maybe his first movie. Stole every scene he was in. Hope he's well. We share...something...

He was really awesome in Clue, The Movie. Funny as hell. I agree. One of my all-time favorites.

Rocky Horror isn’t a movie that you can just rent and check it out, you have to be in a receptive mood, to let it all wash over you.
When you feel goofy and in a good mood, get some wine and some friends and watch it on a big screen with good speakers.

He does evil well... the devil in “Legend” and Cardinal Richilieu in “The Thee Musketeers”.
To: SueRae
I really like Wiseguy, too. It was one of the most interesting series I have seen.

He gave a brilliant performance as Mozart in the original stage version of Amadeus, but was oddly dropped for the film version, as the studio wanted an American. Despite Curry being better known in 1984 thanks to the RHPS.

I wish him a speedy recovery.

watch it on a big screen with good speakersOr better yet, in a theatre with hard core Rocky fans.
Many moons ago, my girlfriend (now wife) suggested we go to a late movie. I was like a lamb to the slaughter! Rocky totally surprised me with laughter (after the first "what tha...?" wore off). And Tim Curry's mouth was so darn suggestive. Great acting!
