I like to catch covers that people do of artists. Some of them, like this girl, are very impressive.
Most use a backing track, that they follow along with, and it makes them sound better, by somewhat covering up their sound.
This girl was just her, doing a perfect cover of Eddie's Eruption

Four years ago she was better than most. Today she has to be up there in the legend level.

I left a post on her Youtube site.
Neal Schon from Journey was 15 when he started with Carlos Santana. Eric Clapton also called him, but Carlos called him first.
This girl needs someone like that to call her. Maybe somebody like Satriani. He's already taught some of the greats.
Also, the current lead singer from Journey got his big break, when Neal Schon saw him on Youtube doing Journey covers.

I enjoy her almost expressionless face. Compare that to the looks of intense effort that most guitar gods show.

Today she has to be up there in the legend level. Obviously a very talented and well trained young musician. But it's one thing to play someone else's music (which is documented note for note and effect for effect in many many places) and another thing altogether to write something like that in the first place. I say we reserve the "legend" title for the latter.

No doubt you are right...BUT...Other than Smoke On The Water, there has probably been not any other piece, in the last 35 years that others have tried to copy...AND FAILED.
She has done...PERFECTLY...what others have failed at.
Now I want to hear her do some Satriani.

She is quite good, but arguably, the most difficult aspect of music is “creating” something that people are willing to pay money to hear.

I found her via Yahoo.
Its easier to just post a story from Yahoo, than to say
"Yo guys, check out this video I saw on Youtube."
