He think he is a prince.

Heck, he is a prince. The only question is the limits of his kingdom.

The man is a tyrrant...he should never be allowed to hold public office again, and all of Wall Street ought to dump his two-way terminals in the East River...

Maybe all the illegals who voted for him will finally catch on to this dictator....or maybe it just reminds them of their home countries.

The biggest problem in America today is that you have to be rich to get elected to office.

We have too many rich people who think they know how to run the country. Rich fascists.

It is almost impossible to get elected to any important office in this country unless you have a pee-pot full of money.

I have always advocated that incumbents should have their electoral funds handed over to the Government at the end of each electoral run. Incumbents with millions left over from one run use this money to defeat anyone else running. It gives them an unfair advantage, as if they hadn't already used Government funds to help in their next election. Voting entitlements and Franking privileges are hard enough to beta without a million in a slush fund from their last election.

... nothing would calm Bloomberg — who at one point looked about for security to toss Freidman from the club.

“This was my club that Bloomberg was a guest in, that I had paid to get in, and he wasn’t getting me kicked out of my own place,” said Freidman.

His lawyers have asked MSG to preserve any surveillance video that may have captured the exchange.

Freidman wondered how the mayor planned to “destroy” his industry.

I'll never understand why New Yorkers elect the politicians that they do. Nor do I want to.

Tyranny sure is contagious. If this continues, all the little dictators will have to duke it out for top dictator spot, a sort-of dictator death match. Jarrett vs. Bloomberg. She'd win.

Here are the good aspects of this.
1. Somebody this angry will die of a stroke.
2. Even people who don’t normally care and don’t normally vote are becoming aware that too much government is a bad thing.
3. He has declared his intentions, which puts the other side on notice.
4. This battle will weaken him without substantially damaging the other side, which may emerge even stronger.
5. This will improve popcorn sales nationwide.

Why won’t everyone just accept anything Bloomberg tells them to do and obey him without question? What’s everyone’s problem, anyway? People that think they have the right to control their own lives? Pshaw! He is our lord and master. We should follow every whim he has, pay whatever fines he decrees for everything he finds objectionable. All hail Bloomberg!

And again, this is why I would choose to live in Detroit over NY.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
