I was working a remodeling job on a night club and the inspector came in to check
the progress. The Inspector was a laid back guy, easy going type. The Manager thought he would
be smart and jokingly said "You guys don't take bribes anymore" and laughed. Well,
the club didn't open for another two weeks and cost them another 10k to make everything Perfect,
and I mean perfect in every way. The manager was fired, of course.

yeah frequently there is some genius who will mouth off to the po po that he has some judge on “his payroll” (defendant makes 11 an hour) while getting arrested. This tactic never works out too well for him..........
