The Moment Proud Father John Boehner Watched His Daughter Say 'I Do' To Her Dreadlocked Jamaican-Born Love [Pics in URL] By SARA NATHAN 13 May 2013
The daughter of House Speaker John Boehner has tied the knot with her Jamaican-born love in an intimate sunset ceremony set amid a lush Florida garden.
Lindsay Marie Boehner, 35, married construction worker Dominic Lakhan in a flowing white strapless gown that showed off a huge tattoo etched across her arm.
Her 38-year-old groom looked smart in a grey suit with his waist-length dreadlocks on display as he waited for Boehner to walk Lindsay down the aisle at Sundy House in Delray Beach on Friday.
The couple said their vows with the House Speaker looking proudly on - despite the fact Dominic had previously arrested for possessing marijuana.

No offense, Bookman. But WHY do you feel the need to sport dreads? Aren’t they a pain to keep up with? And they do not look good, they just don’t.

none taken. I guess the reason I wear them is... I still have hair :o), I like the way I look in them, and it's also kinda of a family thing. Also, and no offense to the white freepers, but dreads don't look good on white people. If you wonder what my dreads look like...family and friends in Samoa all think I look a lot like Rodney So'oialo (rugby player).

I totally understand what you're saying about Milli Vanilli.
There was no better illustration of the vapidity of popular music fans than the fact that they loved an album of music (a non-visual medium, of course), until they found out that the visual image pasted on to the music was a fraud. Then they no longer liked the music, which remained constant throughout?!
Also, I remember a moment when the two front guys "proved" they could sing at a press conference and bleated like stepped-on lambs.
The whole brouhaha was great theater.

At least they got married too many young people today dont even bother. And at least they are opposite genders. Perhaps Rob Portman was invited just to see how that looks.
