Friends, it's Sunday night again. Warm up the tubes for another 4 hours of classic radio Americana.
*tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.
Hi All, I’m not much of a fan of Life of Riley and Our Miss Brooks, but otherwise an ok lineup...more Sherlock Holmes...
This isn’t exactly on topic etc BUT
Have heard several people ‘complain’ that the only TV/cable that you can find “Blazing Saddles” on has the ‘LANGUAGE’ etc bleeped or ‘cleaned up’.
This morning, IFC ran “Blazing Saddles” uncut, so called inappropriate ‘words’ and references remained in tact.
Only draw back is it does run commercials..
Oh, it is set to be run again 5/18 0730 on IFC and would imagine same ‘format’ to be used.
Unless, of course, the PC Police ‘get to them’.
It's disgusting.
FWIW, Petri, or at least the TM, is owned by Franzia, maker of those 5L box wines...

Hey Gina, how’s things? Bermuda was amazing...
All’s well here, Vision. I’m glad your ship didn’t get swallowed in the Triangle! :-) Glad to know you had a great time.
Howdy, Viking! I’m glad to see you.
Is all well with you and Mrs. Viking?
Vision, do you know the title/artist of Ed’s opening theme song? We heard it this past week, I think it was on the 1920s Radio Network feed, but it was cool hearing the whole song. I know I could e-mail Mr. Walker and find out.
Hey, where have you been? Where are you living now?
Nope I don’t know what it is, if you find out let me know. On another note, didn’t you identify Lux’s theme a few weeks ago?
Bob was the best. I have a hard time placing that voice with that picture for some reason.
One photo has already disappeared. We’ll see if the other one stays.
