The biggest worry many had was that burying the terrorist was that his grave would become a shine. Seems like that is an assured status, but perhaps not the same one that people feared.
I'd rather that time people would spend on this was instead spent on ensuring that the feds don't cut a deal and take the death penalty off the table. Pressure them to continue to treat it as a terrorist act, and hopefully strip asylum status from anyone who travels back to the region they 'fled' from.
