Chris Tingle! Love it!!
Yeah, she said what I’m thinking. All I want is two wins in a row.
And then twelve more.

Remember the sock monkey hat trick?
The Trib is soliciting photos from people who kept their sock monkey giveaways from that day and posting them on their website.
Taken on Socko de Mayo.

It is 62 and cloudy-rain predicted tomorrow...
The frantic attempts to redefine
Boston’s bombing were in error-
It is no matter how polyonymous,
The “real” word is still terror
Those who believe driveby media
And those blissfully unaware
Are part of the mooing masses
Who never seem to really care-
But take their bread and circuses
To awaken them from their dream,
And stop handing out the koolaid
If you want to hear them scream
I’ve been watching the MTL-OTT series, so haven’t seen much of the Pens vs. Islanders ... But despite how good you think your offense is, you can’t leave the floodgates open in the Playoffs.
The viciousness on the ice will be matched by the Montreal press & fans, and Therrien may join Bylsma if he doesn’t stop the bleeding pronto. Price being hurt doesn’t help; he was being seriously outplayed by the Sens’ Anderson, but even when he was more on his game the Habs (and backup G Budaj) managed to gift-wrap a win for Ottawa.

aka dem operative impersonating a journalist.
I thought I was going crazy, but the Islanders apparently have guys named “Streit” and “Strait.”

Another fine poem!
Ottawa is playing with purpose, so if they can get that far & maintain their level of play, it could be a tremendous Final.
And by that time, the HNIC purists will forget their faves Montreal, Toronto & Vanchoker, and rally behind the remaining Canadian team...
(The “traditional” bias is comical sometimes ;)
Thank you!
I’m listening to the Benghazi hearings while doing a bid-it sounds like those “talking points” and info releases from the state dept were cleaned enough times to use up a 1.5 lb. box of laundry detergent and a gallon bottle of bleach...
that is hilarious! i think that was a great giveaway. Sick to death of thundersticks, foam hockeystick hats [totes ridic and that was the giveaway last saturday], rally towels etc. They never give away tshirts, bc caps fans rock the red anyway, no one shows up wearing anything else.
but they have that sticking point about the coach needing to speak french, so they better think twice about tossing him! Randy Cunneyworth was reviled for being an anglo last year, and he was the dad of one of xsboy’s SU hockey teammates, so we were rooting for him to be able to stay.
Thanks for the link-that is a fascinating story.
