polyonymous
Obama is known as Liar in Chief; Traitor; Obumbles; Thy name is polyonymous.
They’re gonna be calling Dan Bylsma “Unemployed” if he doesn’t get this team playing with some discipline pronto.
They need to play and win a “playoff” style game, 1-0 or 2-1. Enough of these 9 and 10 goal games.
And maybe Fleury needs to sit on the bench. He’s giving up too many stupid, ridiculous goals. Once is a fluke. We’re past that now.
"I got it,I got it...polyonymess..it's what you have if you don't clean out the parrot's cage"
I know I’m the only one, but I’ve been saying for years that Fleury is overrated. He caved when he went fetal on that last goal. My blind dog could have stopped it!
A++
That was hysterical!
People rarely complain about wins.
When you spend large amounts of time flailing about in your own end and are basically relying on the hockey gods’ luck for the good bounce or timely screen, that’s no way to run a railroad.
They need to get back to a style of play that can preserve a one-goal lead, not relying on their superstars to answer every goal with one of their own.
Back in the 1950s, the Rangers had a mediocre team that featured a mediocre goalie named Lorne(Gump)Worsley. His best season was with the Minnesota North Stars in 1972, where he was second in the league in goals against average with 2.12 and was named to play in the 25th National Hockey League All-Star Game, He was 43 years old. When asked to explain his excellent performance at such an advanced age, Gump said that his reflexes were fading and he couldn’t move fast enough to get out of the way of the puck. Incidentally, he was one of the last goalies to play without a mask.
Without a mask. Unimaginable, isn’t it? I think they’re nuts to play without visors. These play-off games have been great to watch, no real blowouts, all close contests. It’s more enjoyable when you don’t have a dog in the fight.
Well, one blowout. But that was a long time ago.
That’s true, the recent games have erased any memory of that one game. You know I like your defensive guy but I cannot stand Malkin. He instigates and skates away to let others fight his battles. He couldn’t do it last night, with the Islander hanging onto his jersey.
You mean LeTang? Yeah, he’s good. He’s up for the Norris.
The refs were letting the game get a little out of hand. With the history of these two teams (remember the epic brawls a couple years ago?), you’d think they’d do better.
At one point one of the Penguins was sitting on an Islanders back in front of the Isles’ goal hitting him and nothing got called.
We saw that. Even the commentators ignored it. It’s like they were snakebit after the Habs/Sens penalty fest. Talk about out of control...
Unless you’re name is Matt Cooke, then you get called for everything. Garage league at its best.
And as far as the Norris, I hope ANYONE but Suter the traitor gets it. Funny how it was all about the Dman who could score the most goals last year.
