Silicon lattice spacing is 0.54 nm. With 22 nm, that means that features are just 40 atoms wide. We are very close to physical limits now.

The real story to me is the amount of engineering they have don on the power levels....
I don't think anyone can match that.
Still early ,...and the proof is how it all operates.
And they borrowed from AMD's bulldozer architecture...
