And how much CO2 will be generating moving all of these people to the conference? Haven’t these greenies ever heard of teleconferencing?

"Sea level rise will continue to damage coastal ecosystems"

If sea levels rise, they will rise everywhere. Surely someone else would have noticed. How stupid do they think we are?

Some folks either can’t or don’t want to acknowledge the difference between coastal errosion and rising sea levels.

The primary difference is that one is happening and the other is NOT!

I’m really worried about global warming.

Yesterday: Building collapses in southeast MN; snow likely factor

If the sea is only rising .5mm per year that means in about 100 years it’ll be about 50mm or about 2 inches.

This is bogus, of course, but it doesn’t matter, this is part of the larger agenda, Agenda 21,

Speaking of which, why don’t we have any threads on Agenda 21 here on FR? For those who don’t know what it is, I would advise you to google it, read it and weep. It is the biggest threat we face, bigger than Obama.

If sea levels are rising, why isn't there any published data on what that rise is? All we hear is cr@p like they will rise 2 feet in 100 years.

The destruction from the hurricanes had nothing to do with global warming and everything to do with wind speed and direction.

“Climate change” is not some historically new fact. The earth’s climate has been changing, constantly changing and never has stopped changing from the start.

Part of the problem is that the lifetime, and life-memory of any human is but a spec in time to the history of the earth and a spec in time to its climate history. From that fact people confuse a “norm” of their lifetime, or even some 50, 75, 100 or 200 years as an “earth norm” and any deviation of it as some climate abberration. It’s not.

For example: Just this morning my neighbor and I were talking about the 16 inches of snow in some parts of Minnesota yesterday, and here its already May, and how gee isn’t that “unusual”. (We live in NJ by the way). Her 92 yr old mom asked what we were talking about. We told her and we commented again how unusual it seemed. She said it didn’t seem so wierd, she remembered snow in New Jersey in May in her lifetime.

The real constant, in every age, of any seashore and storm damage is NOT “rising sea levels” but the fact that in every age the seashores across the globe have been shaped by the storms that hit them, the storms that have always hit them and will always hit them.

In southern New Jersey the entire topography for tens of miles inland in places comprises features that have been created by the inward push of storms from the sea, over long periods of time. It is clear to geographers that no known human settlements have ever experienced some of the storm levels that southern New Jersey has experienced in its past. Obviously no industrial-age CO2 was the cause of them.

Association of Climate Change Officers

The very name of the group defines the problem.

If anyone wants to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread which can be found here:

NEW ACTION THREAD:

Post 128 of the Action Thread is a summary of the history of Agenda 21, “what they are doing”, “what to do about it” and a good bibliography for further reading.
