How much does one have to weigh for a certain height to be officially overweight? I work with guys who do the physically heavy labor on job sites (a few pump some iron, too)-one guy is my height of 5’9”, and weighs 190 something. He is built like a brick s***house-there is not an ounce of fat on him-pure eye candy. Would he be overweight?

Courtesy of the federal gov’t.

5-9, 190 is a 28.1. Overweight. Not obese.

I am 5-10. I would have to weight 174 to not be “overweight.”

I could weigh as little as 129 and be “normal.”

It’s largely unrealistic nonsense.
