Did anyone mention that the new UI sucks?
I find Outlook to be cartoonish and cheap. I told them so but they did not care.
It’s good enough for junk mail, which is what I always used it for anyway.
Notice they haven’t mentioned how many people are having problems and have nowhere except a stupid forum to get answers or help.
It’s not a hard to use UI. It’s probably the easiest one you’ll find. If you have performance issues use Chrome. My wife’s billion year old msn.com email was migrated flawlessly. Even though she stopped paying for that dialup service 15 years ago...
I miss Eudora
Yes, Outlook sux..
And to think that Sabeer Bhatia bent Bill Gates over the counter for $400 million for hotmail in the 1990’s. Well played, sir.
I really don’t care what Outlook looks like as long as they let me keep my 25 gig of online storage space and as long as I can POP3 my mail into SeaMonkey (Firefox suite with an email reader that works on my thumbdrive) I am good.
I have 4 hotmail accounts, 3 of which have 25 gig of memory and one with 7 gig, all free.
It also has free One-Note that I can coordinate with my droid phone and allows me to retrieve things between online and the phone.
(I know nothing is free, but, for what I use them for, it’s worth every penny)
Please help. Just signed on to Outlook and ‘fell’ into a routine that required a CODE to be entered. After many various attempts I finally entered my phone number and received a automated phone call giving me my CODE. I entered this code and was able to access Outlook with no problem. I don’t usually ask for help; but I did not receive any indication from Microsoft about this change. I am not really sure what I did and would like to know if there is a write up on this ‘OVER PROTECTIVE’,what Microsoft called it, really is.
