SARAH Palin has been urged to get a makeover by her own daughter!
Willow Palin, 18, recently completed a hairdressing program at Penrose Academy in Scottsdale, Ariz. Shes planning on opening her own salon, says a source, and wants Mom to be her first customer.
Willow thinks Sarahs appearance is old and tired. She wants to give her mother a fresh, new hairstyle something that will make her look younger, a source revealed.
Sarahs been reluctant to change her look because its so identifiable. But Willow is convinced she can win her mom over.
According to Sarah, Willow has a great career ahead of her doing something she loves in a recession-proof industry (everyone needs their hair cut after all!).(continued)

I’d love to see her take McCain’s Senate seat. :)
There are women who would kill for that figure!
Yawn....that’s getting old and smacks of talking pts from MSNBC.
I too agree. I know many who love her politics and like her Sarah-ness. But that voice drives them crazy!
I think that as long as she insists on wearing glasses she should lose the bangs. Yes, she could use some updating. Most of us could. She is beautiful indeed, and she should show her beauty off better. But her gorgeous hair should NOT be shorter! The problem with hairdressers is that they always want us women to try some daring new style that requires cutting. No. Nonononono. And it should not be some newly-graduated stylist like her daughter but someone who does the great ladies.
I gotta say, Willow may be right.
I’m not beauty queen, like our beloved Sarah, so take my experience for what it is worth.
For years and years and years I resisted cutting my long hair. I’d get a haircut about every 3 years and just let it grow back. When it was short, it drove me nuts. My hair was always in a pony tail. (Like I said, I’m no glamour kitty!)
Well, this year, due to the need to find a new job (which I still haven’t been able to really do, anybody who needs an EXCELLENT Full charge bookkeeper in the NYC metro area freepmail me) I decided it was time to bite the bullet and cut my hair.
So I went to my very trusted hair dresser and said: cut it as short as you think it should be. And he did. And....I LOVE MY NEW HAIR CUT!
So much crappy stuff has been going on in my life (the job situation, the sandy flooding, just an awful 6 months), but every time I look in the mirror I feel like I look great.
Sarah’s look IS a little dated, maybe a little 80s. She should do what I did and try something new. As our good friend Hillary! once said: you can try new stuff with your hair, because it grows back. For once in her life she was right.
Leave her alone. She’s beautiful.
“Oh gawd no. Keep her a brunette. “
-
I’m with you. Blonds are a dime a dozen these days with the improvements in hair coloring.
She is beautiful just the way she is.
.
“Shes always needed a voice coach.”
Agreed. Maybe she’s had one, you never know.
I can’t stand the lies the media tells about Michelle Obama. She is NOT a plate of fashion, or glamour. In fact, she looks dreadful most of the time. And I can’t understand that. She’s a little on the gawky side, but she could look A LOT better than she does.
Oh and those belts, those awful belts. There are not too many women who look good with a prominent belt line. I must say my staunch republican mother loved belts just like that. And my mother was beautiful, like a movie star, she really was. But she too wore those horrid, awful, very bad, UGLY belts.
And Michelle O. is even tall and they STILL look bad on her.
She’s looked good about twice in the past 5 years. She needs to hire a republican beauty consultant. And throw out every belt she owns. I’ll come throw them out for her. (We’ll pretend they got destroyed by sandy.) (That’s what I’m doing with all the stuff I just don’t like but could never bring myself to get rid of!)
Yo, Willow...SLOWLY, STEP AWAY FROM THE BLOW DRYER, TOSS OUT THE HAIR PRODUCT, AND COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP.
Best wishes for your employment search! It’s never easy job hunting (especially in the Obama economy).
Im glad to hear your stylist gave you just what you needed! Changing your hair (style or color) can make you feel “renewed.” And if it doesn’t...it will grow out :)
The Gov. has lost weight too...hopefully not a health issue or overly stressed...but she is even more petite now. The long hair she has now weighs her down. Willow is right!
And, if you watch Fox News, I love Catherine Herridge’s distinctive short cut. It looks awesome with her more angular features.
Agree! I think she is gorgeous, but she needs to be trained to lower her voice from being as high pitched. That is my only criticism of her.
Voters can be fickle. Just look at those who voted for Gore’s hair and hussein’s skin color.
I agree, she got too skinny.
I’ll have to check out Herridge, I know her name, but I can’t really think what she looks like.
I’ll say this, Fox has the best makeup team in the business. Talk about weddings...if I ever hit lotto I’m going to hire the fox news makeup staff for my daughter’s wedding. They do lipstick like nobody’s business! They even make the men look their best.
Roger that. I love everything about her except her vocal delivery and that is one thing she can't change with a makeover.
