I am not aware of that poster having liberal views before although he/she is not really someone I followed .
I for one do not support drug legalization but I do have some issues with the drug war but nor do i think that a viewpoint that Buckley and Milton Friedman held should be banning worthy here especially in these days were it feels like we are outnumbered and the forum has less volume of enthusiasm than 10 years ago and when i don't recall.
And I notice this was a group effort ..a sport to draw a lightning bolt...pack behavior and now we have the community high five...for what..zotting a 6 year vet you disagreed with over drug laws.
I have rarely cared much for that here and was myself once a victim of it by several freepers once prominent and now long gone since The Exodus
Unless there is more to this than simply arguing about drug laws this looks ugly and is no help to the larger battle of defeating socialism and eventually collapse..conservatives and libertarians can fight out legalizing pot later

JustSayNoToNannies was an abusive Troll Thug and the people you are complaining to, know that to be true.
In the past weeks JustSayNoToNannies was warned by Admin Moderator to stop breaking a specific forum rule in two separate threads. Also, I saw Admin Moderator recently warn JustSayNoToNannies to change his Profile Page because it was abusive to another Freeper. The final straw looks to be his weird abuse of manc in post #136 of this thread.
These are just abuses I have seen with my own eyes, there are probably lots more that helped him earn his well deserved ZOT.
Upthread there are reports of the zottee stalking FReepers, and his FReep page flamed others, and he had been warned by the mods. And I personally could go into detail about other abuses, but I’ll leave it alone.
I will say this: Just say no and his pro-drug crusade made Chet99 (pitbulls) and Willie (trains) Green look like rank amateurs at trolling threads. If they were were justifiably zotted for trolling - then justice has truly been served today with kicking him off.
