Good progress. I am still waiting for the delivery of potatoes that I ordered Feb. 1. I called and talked to a supervisor to ask them to expedite the shipment.

He said they ship according to the climate for our area. I told him that the U.Mo Extension office says to plant potatoes 4/1 to 4/15, and I felt that was probably correct, so perhaps they might want to reconsider their schedule.

LOL. I’ve had to argue with a few seed companies about shipping dates that use the ZIP-Code to ship; that puts us into the wrong zone according to both the old and the new USDA maps.

We have at least 800-900’ elevation increase over their ZIP-locator, which instead of even being the town with the Post Office, instead is the geographical center of the ZIP-Code area, which is the entire county, plus a bit here & there. Typically, we’re 3 weeks behind the town on bloom times.
