Sad, and nothing will happen to those two cops or their supervisor.

At some point the judges who issue these warrants need to be held responsible as well..

Rather symbolic--the government employees murdered John Adams.

Police admitted their mistake, saying faulty information from a drug informant contributed to the death of John Adams Wednesday night. So the informant said, "That mofo need to die!", or something to that effect?

Be patriots and support the men who had to go door to door busting the drug dealers. A few mistakes will not undo great work that has been going on. Freedom! /sarc

That’s one way of getting rid of unwanted citizens.
Just say: Oops, we made a mistake. So sorry.

we need to at the local level get rid of all swat and get rid of no-knock raids. i would also through your lawyers send the police department andcity attorney a legal letterstating that any leos performing a no-knock entry on your house will be considered a home invasion and the occupants will use self defense to protect themselves, andthat thepremises arevideo recorded and the video will be preserved to the internet as evidence.

This is a hideous crime by the police and I’d love to know the outcome of this 6-1/4 year old case.

These no-knock SWAT raids need to stop. These are dark times in America.

Murder an innocent man and be placed on administrative leave with pay?!
There is truly no hope. The end has begun.
To: Altariel
The cops had no warrant to enter this home. What they did is a crime. His shooting was a murder not mistake.

So no one, in planning the “raid”-—put up pictures of the perps?........so the young inexpeirienced cops could see the diff between the 70 yr old man and a couple of 20 something drug gang bangers.

“faulty information from a drug informant”
How about “criminal negligence” by law enforcement for not having a process to validate tips from “drug informants”????

How can these donut eaters not realize the house they invaded was the wrong house.... How many elderly people are drug dealers...(I assume it was a drug warrant)
No knock warrants need some serious reform and a much higher standard to have one issued...
How difficult would it be for a plain clothed cop to knock on the door during the day and see who answers....
