I just got one of these for my Wife:

Springfield XDs.

I personally carry the XDM 4.5" .45 bitone, and the Kahr CW45.

Tried one and loved it. For those wanting a small .45 Auto that is controllable and accurate, the XDs would also be my recommendation.

I used to have one of those in XD SC 9mm with 16+1 or 12+1.

Sadly, it was lost in a tragic canoeing accident.

Personally I haven’t felt or fired anything nearly as good as the XDM line.
